Buzz Of The Week Forever You're Mine by K. Langston

Ms. Langston out did herself with the story of Cannon and Cora. We all wanted someone who could match our love for Archer and my god I think she made it a tough decision. We fell in love fast with the writing ability of this author. She writes manly men who are more worried about protecting their woman then they are about getting their nails manicured.

Each one of her men could have a spot on our Buzz of the week but Cannon undoubtedly claims it this week. He was everything you would hope your book boyfriend would be. The story will keep you left swiping your kindle like a mad woman and at times make your chest tight with that feeling we all love to get while reading.

Because with K. Langston Sangria just won't don't do with her men. You will be screaming to MANGRIA me now.

                                      Interview with K. Langston

Favorite Male and Female character you have written?
Cannon and Cora were the most fun to write, but then again, Maddie and Holden were my first and they were a blast too. Oh hell, I love them all. You can’t ask me to pick a fave. You just…can’t.

Hardest Male and Female character you have written?
Archer was a pain in my ass. Writing a male POV is tough as it is. And with him…I didn’t have a whole lot of say over how that all went down. I had the story outlined one way, but just completely took over. He was a growly bastard and who exerted his Alphaness all over me. But I loved every tortuous second of it. Tabitha was the toughest female to write. I just didn’t feel a strong connection with her at first, but once we got into the guts of her story, I was able to pull it out.

A lot of authors put some part of themselves or a part of their life in to a book. Did you?
Most definitely. There are little pieces of me sprinkled all throughout that series. Can you guess which ones?!

If you had to pick only one female of yours would you say you are more like Madison, Katy, Tabitha or Cora and why?
Hmmm…I would say I am more like Cora. No matter what life throws my way or how hard it knocks me down, I always get back up. I refuse to let my past define me. I acknowledge my weaknesses. I make mistakes. I own them. I move on. And I’m straight up country girl. Yeah me and Cora…we’re pretty tight.
Sex scenes? Hate to write them or panty change while writing them?
I LOVE writing sex scenes. If you put your hands down your pants at least once while reading one of my books, then I’ve done my job.

When did you know that writing was all you wanted to do?
I don’t know if it’s all I want to do, but it’s what makes me the happiest.

Can you give us a little something that has popped in your head to write, but hasn’t hit the editor?
Oh my Gah…I haven’t showed this to anyone. I don’t even know what it is yet. But for TUG…anything.
I’m dying and I don’t even know it.
My body is slowly shutting down. I can’t see it. No one can. On the outside I look completely normal. No one knows the secrets I hide. But there’s one secret I protect at all costs. There’s one secret no one knows anything about. And if I have my way, they will never find out.

When you are writing do you ever get so involved you forget your characters aren’t real? Find yourself answering their thoughts?
Of course. But I’ve always talked to myself, so this is normal behavior for me.

How many more books in the Mine series do you see happening?
There is only one more book planned for that series but I’ve had requests for more. Alex, Katy’s brother is supposed to be next but readers have expressed interest in Winston, Battle, Nikki…I’m thinking there might be spin off. Not sure yet. Sylvie is next so…we’ll have to wait and see.

If you could write something in any other genre which genre?
Thriller. I’ve always been a huge Stephen King fan and I’m obsessed with serial killers. Some of the shit I have in my dark files…might change the way you feel about me.
Can you give us anything from your current WIP?
Absolutely. This is from Sylvie, a standalone contemporary romance set to release Summer 2015.
I take a step back, attempting to regain some shred of composure. Then I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror once more. I take in my bloodshot eyes, my swollen lips, and my throbbing heart.
Shame swallows me whole.
Linc continues to hold my hand. “Please don’t do this. I don’t want to leave this room without you.” he says, pain embedded in his voice.
“It’s too late, Linc.”
He squeezes my hand tighter. “No, it’s not. It’s never too late.”

                                          Serious questions now…
Favorite Beer?
 Duh…Bud Light.

Drunk Sex or sober sex?
Drunk sex…always dirtier.

You’re at dinner and your vibrator falls out of your purse and rolls to a couple at the next table. What do you say?
What? Haven’t you seen an electric boyfriend before?

Sex on a beach or screw it and give me the damn drink?
Screw it, give me the damn drink and fuck me over the sink.

One name you would never name your male character?
Craig. Such a douchy name. Sorry Craig.

Most embarrassing thing you have ever done drunk or sober?
I don’t embarrass easily. But there was this one time that I got so drunk I threw up inside the club at my friend’s bachelorette party. That was pretty embarrassing. It took me a long time to learn my limits.

All-time favorite book?
Seriously?! How can you ask me that? I have so many. The Bright Side sits at the top right now. That book wrecked me. Changed me. In so many beautiful and amazing ways. #DoEpic

One male celebrity you would pull the free pass on if you had the chance.
 Scott Eastwood or Jamie Dornan…Scott or Jamie…Scott or…FUCK ME….
JAMIE!!!

This is the story of Cooper and Summer it may be beautiful, but it isn't guaranteed to be pretty. Scars may not always be visible, but can be just as deep as if they were. Your eyes will be flooded as well as your heart with this love story.

Because summer love can happen too fast we figure the only drink that would work would be  a tribute to exactly what the book was about.

Buzz of the week: Brisé by Leigh Ann Lunsford

Ms. Lunsford seems to enjoy shredding our hearts and then slowly piecing them back together. She has a way that will have you begging for mercy, yet, make you want to put on a cheerleader outfit to "sis boom bah" her characters into the happy ever ending they deserve. She is fast becoming the QUEEN of angst. Her characters have the ability to not only make you confess your undying love to them, and yet at the same time want to slap some sense into them.

Buzz Of The Week: Malevolent by Cassia Brightmore

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23846063-malevolent?from_search=true

We love all kinds of genres, but the ones that really grip us and don't let go are the murder mysteries with a hot love story starring an alpha! Nothing better. We both LOVED this story, and to know this is a debut author, just gets us excited to see what the future holds for this author!

This book will keep you on your toes and blaming every character in the book. Any chance we get to put our NCIS hats on and play detective is a great day for us. Sheriff Brady will make you want to be handcuffed to the bed playing bad cop good cop with all his swoon worthiness.

Buzz Of The Week: Alpha & Omega by K. Webster

K. Webster hit this one out of the park for us. Lark and Al will melt your heart one minute and have you laughing your ass off the next. Alpha & Omega will make you a believer that words can be beautiful. The story between the two is heartbreaking and heartfelt with an ending that will have you wondering how she will pull it all off.

We all read so many books some months that it's hard to remember the names from one book to the next even though you loved it, but every once in a while you come across one that just sticks. Eight months down the road you will still be thinking about how AL and Lark were two of the most likeable characters you have had a chance to read.

There was only one drink to pair this book with and since sometimes you have to dance with the devil to come out the victor we thought it would be fitting.

It's back...Buzz Of The Week time!  This author has a way of writing YA like no other, grabbing you from the beginning and drawing you in for a journey that has the power to make your heart skip a beat and possibly shed a tear or two.

If you haven't read Ms. McLean's More Series you should definitely make that an item on your to-do-list! But this book? This book for us was a sure fire candidate for Buzz Of The Week, and we hope you take the time to read and fall in love with Blake and Chloe like we did! Even if YA isn't your typical genre of choice, this story can blur those lines.
